People and Recruitment Administrator

We are looking for our next People and Recruitment Administrator to join our small dynamic team at Francis Holland Schools.


You don’t need to have HR experience – what’s most important is your ability to handle administrative tasks with precision and efficiency and a desire to make continue in or make your make first step into HR. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy keeping things running smoothly, we’d love to hear from you!


What You’ll Be Doing

As our new People and Recruitment Administrator, you’ll play a crucial role in supporting our HR function with day-to-day operations. This is an ideal opportunity for someone with strong administrative skills looking to step into the world of HR.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing and maintaining employee records, ensuring data accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Preparing and issuing contracts, offer letters, and other documentation.
  • Coordinating recruitment processes, including posting job adverts, scheduling interviews, and managing candidate communications.
  • Supporting onboarding processes for new employees.
  • Handling general HR-related queries from employees and managers.
  • Maintaining HR databases and systems, ensuring all information is up-to-date.
  • Providing general administrative support to the People team and wider business.

  • Strong administrative skills with a proven track record in a fast paced similar role.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and high levels of accuracy.
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • A proactive attitude and a willingness to learn.


HR experience is not essential – we’ll provide all the necessary training and support to help you succeed.
