As People Administrator you will play a key role in providing first-class administrative service to Christian Aid’s People department, ensuring customer service is of the highest level. Your responsibilities will include managing the HR inbox, providing first line support to our employees, preparing documents to support all events in the employee lifecycle and providing ad hoc support to the Director of People and Workplace Culture as required. Looking for a fixed term contact for my People Advisor's maternity cover, ideally to start at the beginning of April until end of June 2026.Here's a link to the full job specification but a few notes to mention - at Advantage we are fully remote with very occasional meetings, mainly if London. Travel costs are met (would be on average 2 or 3 times a year).We are a small team of 3 and the business has just over 100 employees. I have complete autonomy of the People Strategy and need someone to work with me on delivery this, plus managing the day job (people engagement, payroll, comp and bens, recruitment etc). We are not an heavy ER business, but we do utilise all tech solutions to ensure we keep our engagement high.We have recently implemented Employment Hero as our HRIS and payroll, so experience of that system would be beneficial but is not an essential skill, as the system is super easy to learn - we love using it.Lots of great initiatives to roll out this year, definitely wouldn't be bored.Salary is circa ÂŁ40k with 25 annual leave to start, plus birthday off and a volunteering day.
