Deputy HR Manager

Working under the direction of the newly appointed HR and Recruitment Manager, this role will work on Monday - Friday 42.5 hours per week – working times are approximately 9am – 5:30pm daily however there is some flexibility.  


This is an exciting time to be joining the HR team at Ambulnz Community Partners as the business continues to expand and an agile, flexible and fit for purpose HR function is an essential part of this.


This role would be a great step up for someone that is currently working at HR Officer/HR Advisor level with 3-5 years of experience behind them ideally with some element of managerial/supervisory experience.


You will work partly remotely from home and our Cramlington Station, with occasional travel to other sites including our Audenshaw HQ. Ambulnz Community Partners have sites across the UK and there will also be times when you are required to travel as part of the role.


What will I be doing?

This role will be responsible for supporting with the delivery of all HR functions and activities within the business as well as deputising for the HR Manager in their absence. This will comprise of managing and leading the team of one HR Administrator and ensuring the continuation of business as usual.


What experience will I need?

  • 3-5 years experience at HR Officer/HR Advisor level
  • Line management/supervisory experience
  • A team player with a positive ‘can do’ attitude
  • Have a high level of attention to detail
  • Be qualified to CIPD Level 5 or equivalent
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage comfortably with Senior Stakeholders when required.
  • Excellent IT skills including Word and Excel
  • Calm under pressure
