HR Advisor (Maternity Cover)

British Steel are seeking a dedicated individual to join our HR team, delivering customer-focused advisory and operational services throughout the entire employee lifecycle, in line with our company HR policy.
What You’ll Do:
- Manage Complex HR Cases: Successfully handle high-volume HR casework.
- Provide Expert Advice: Offer clear, accurate generalist advice to colleagues at all levels within the organisation.
- Drive Continuous Improvement: Suggest and implement HR initiatives that enhance our processes and realise efficiencies.
- Influence Positive Outcomes: Develop successful outcomes and maintain effective union relationships.
- Support Change and Development: Assist HR leadership and line management in driving people-related changes and development across the business.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experienced HR Professional: Proven history in an HR Advisor role or similar.
- Independent and Team Player: Ability to work independently and collaboratively on projects.
- Excellent Time Management: Effectively prioritise a busy workload and manage expectations.
- Qualified and Knowledgeable: CIPD part-qualified or equivalent, with a solid understanding of employment law at a generalist, operational level.
