People Business Partner

We are looking for a People Business Partner to join the team based at our Support Hub in Knowsley. Your role will collaborate with business leaders to contribute to the development and delivery of the business plan, specifically designing, developing and delivering people solutions that meet business needs. As a strategic business partner to the relevant senior leadership team you will play a critical role in providing insight, challenge & influence to support business goals. You will work as part of a broader business partnering team to bring your expertise across all areas of the colleague lifecycle to enable our change and transformation programme of growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Translate the people strategy to design and deliver a comprehensive, integrated and solution focussed people plan, that enables delivery of the overall business plan.
- Act as a strategic people partner to business leaders, providing guidance and support on people matters, building strong relationships and understanding business needs to align people initiatives with business goals.
- Responsible for organisational design and development, collaborating with stakeholders to create and implement structures that align with the company’s strategic objectives and external insights and research.
- Interface to business sponsors to lead and enable all people related change activity related to our changing organisation design and future operating model.
- Partner with leaders and the talent team to identify critical roles, assess talent needs and design succession plans, talent pipelines and career development frameworks to evolve to our future ways of working.
- Coach and build the capability of business leaders to help improve performance and identify any capability gaps and plan interventions, collaborating with the talent team as required.
- Interpret people data and analytics to identify trends, patterns and opportunities for organisational improvement.
- Collaborate with the HR shared service and talent acquisition team(s) to ensure complex ER cases are managed effectively and all open vacancies are managed according to service level agreements (SLAs) and the requirements of the business.
- Work with business leaders and finance on validation of headcount & budget for open roles, inputting into the selection process for critical and/or key leadership roles.
- Coordinate with reward on solutions to address business needs, compensation packages for senior leaders and support of the annual pay review process.
