People Experience Coordinator

Our team is growing! We have a new opportunity for a People Experience Coordinator to join us in September and get involved in all areas of people where they will get to shape the people experience and the future of our quickly growing company. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with HR knowledge to make a real impact and take the next step in their HR career as we continue to build our team and employee experience at Magnetic.

What you'll be doing:

You will be part of our lovely People team and your main responsibilities will include:

  • Helping to build our office culture in Manchester (office management, establish great relationships, helping plan events, and creating a collaborative fun environment)
  • Managing all processes throughout the employee lifecycle (starters, leavers, probation, planning and facilitating Induction etc)
  • Supporting with ER processes as needed 
  • Caring for our jumpstarters (graduates) and managing their development 
  • Assisting our finance team with payroll processes (payroll experience isn't necessary though!)
  • Become an expert in our benefits to ensure everyone is informed about our packages and also maximise their usage 
  • Supporting and leading other people projects (engagement survey, benefits review, reward & recognition…)
  • Other admin as needed (scheduling training, collating data, etc..) 

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Has 2-3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Is excited to get involved in all aspects of people experience and grow their career in this area
  • Would be happy by working with ambiguity and is curious about new ideas and proactively to suggest new things/ways of working, etc.
  • Can provide clarity to others through a consistent, organised approach
  • Is generous with their time and knowledge, takes the time to really get to know people, understand the situation, etc.
  • Has really positive energy, who will work well with our lovely People Team
  • Is based in Manchester and wants to be in the office at least 3 days a week (we are really flexible but as this role is key to building out our Manchester office being present in really important!)
  • Is excited by the opportunity to help shape our people strategy and make a real impact on our company
  • Has worked in a people focused company previously
  • Is up for some travel to London
