People Operations Manager

As People Operations Manager, you will be a member of our Organisational Development management team, with your primary remit being to support the delivery of high-quality customer focused People Services and OD interventions across the People Services directorate.


Reporting to the Head of People Services, and managing a team of People Coordinators as well as the Systems and MI Partner, you will use your HR operational and project management experience to:

  • Develop and implement a People Services operating plan that results in: the delivery of consistent and high-quality services; insightful management information; and contributes to a cycle of continuous improvement.
  • Lead and manage the People Co-ordinators to ensure consistent standards and high-quality support is provided to the business. Including oversight of the standard operating procedures.
  • Develop and build the capability and capacity of all People Services team members, in the delivery of outstanding customer service.

About you

Ideally CIPD qualified, your track record will demonstrate a sound understanding of best practice operational HR and proven experience of leading and implementing service improvement projects and change initiatives. You’ll possess excellent planning and organisation skills, with attention to detail, in addition to proven negotiation and influencing skills.
