People Partner

We are currently seeking a People Partner to join our dynamic People & Culture team based at our modern, contemporary, state-of-the-art new head office, the Isaacs Building, located in Sheffield's 'Heart of the City'.

As a People Partner, you will play a crucial role in providing expert advice and guidance to line managers and their teams on all people-related matters. You will be an integral part of our team, working alongside our businesses to ensure a proactive, effective, and professional support service is delivered to internal teams.


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide expert advice and guidance to line managers on complex casework, performance management, attendance, and employee relations issues.
  • Support the roll-out of change programmes, ensuring line managers receive the necessary guidance and support.
  • Coach and guide line managers to equip them with the skills to handle people management issues effectively.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the operational implementation of the People Plan, projects, and initiatives.
  • Stay up to date with best people practices and legislation, sharing knowledge with our people.
  • Analyse and interpret data to highlight trends and inform the People Plan.
  • Maintain confidentiality of information and ensure compliance with regulations.


About you

You will have outstanding communication and customer service skills with the confidence to build collaborative relationships.

  • Successful completion of Level 5 CIPD or relevant experience.
  • PeopleXD HRIS knowledge is desirable.
  • Excellent problem-solving capabilities and judgment.
  • Strong communication and influencing skills at all levels.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritise work, and meet deadlines.
  • Methodical and organised approach with attention to detail.
  • Flexible and proactive mindset.


Interviews are to be held in the week commencing 25th March, with the second interview held in the week commencing 8th April 2024.
