What's the role?

You will work as part of the wider Training and Development team and will liaise closely with the LCP Study Partner and Actuarial study policy consultant. You will directly manage the Actuarial study administrator, as well as the work of the person responsible for CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) study administration. The role is based from our Winchester office (2-3 days a week usually). Travel to our London office will be required as needed and some hybrid working is possible. Your key responsibilities will be to;

  • Manage all professional qualifications in LCP, with a key focus on actuarial and CFA qualifications
  • Manage the actuarial study administrator on a day-to-day basis
  • Oversee the overall apprenticeship programme
  • Maintain existing ongoing external professional body and qualification provider relationships
  • Manage internal relationships with all key study contacts, including study partner, people leaders, HR, Payroll and Finance
  • Manage the study administration provision for all qualifications including budget and costing processes, invoice approval and budget spend, liaison with students, study mentors and people leaders where required
  • Oversee CFA study administration
  • Further develop and maintain relationships with the Graduate and Experienced Hire recruitment teams to ensure smooth transition for new joiners into our study procedures

What skills, experience and qualities are we looking for?

  • Previous experience of administering professional qualifications is essential
  • A technical aptitude with strong excel skills and experience of process improvement
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and relationship building skills across all levels
  • A commercial and practical approach
  • A team player with the ability to deal with fluctuating workloads with initiative and able to prioritise
  • Excellent attention to detail and able to problem solve
