Apprentice HR Advisor

This role is being offered as an Apprentice HR Advisor and you will be required to complete CIPD Level 5 (either via distance learning or by attending college).


Who will you be working with?

Working as part of the wider HR Shared Services (HRSS) on site team in Warwick, you will support the day-to-day HR Advisory requirements for your specific area of the business.


What will you be doing?

As a HR Advisor you will act as a trusted advisor to all specified departments, working with peoplemanagers to support and shape their thinking on people related issues, you will have an active caseload and will pro-actively support people managers in resolving issues as and when they arise. You will provide balanced, consistent and fair advice on general Employee Relations (ER) matters ensuring compliance with both internal policies, processes and employment legislation.


On a daily basis you’ll be responsible for:

• Supporting HR Advisory Manager with managing day to day cases.

• Managing cases and supporting the HR Advisory Manager with higher level investigations for capability, disciplinaries and grievances.

• Supporting the HR function where necessary with administrative duties on confidential matters.

• Manage the relationship with relevant external HR partners and work closely with Occupational Health Provider.

• Lead/participate in HR Project Work to continue to drive efficiencies and process improvement.

• Support HRSS Team in the review of existing people policies and processes.

• Support HR Business Partner’s and HR Director during periods of organizational change and including org design.

To be successful in your application you’ll need to;

Essential

• CIPD Level 3 qualified or qualified by experience.

• Background working as HR Administrator or Assistant HR Advisor

• Ability to build strong relationships at all levels.

• Manage stakeholder expectations and positively influence people managers to take accountability for people related issues.

• Proven experience working within a fast-paced, demanding and varied HR environment.

• Excellent communication, written, numerical skills and IT skills.

• Good eye for detail with good planning and organizational skills.

• A strong level of integrity Desirable Having previous experience of employee relations.
