HR Generalist – Full time 12 month FTC



An exciting opportunity has become available to support our offshore wind business as a HR Generalist, based in London.

This position will see you report to the HR Shared Services Manager and will support our global offshore wind business, which is responsible for the successful management and delivery of a pipeline of more than 30GW of offshore wind projects. You will be a well-organized HR generalist who is able to support HR processes through the full employee lifecycle, within an agile environment focused on providing a great employee experience.

This role would be suitable if you are a mid-level HR Generalist, who has experience of dealing with all aspects of the employee lifecycle, ideally with a CIPD qualification. If you have worked in a fast-paced, professional global environment and you possess an eye for detail and like to be involved in projects this is the right opportunity for you.

Your key responsibilities include:

o  Maintenance and reporting of HRIS and other HR systems

o  Draft and distribute contracts of employment

o  Manage effective onboarding of new hires and offboarding for leavers

o  Benefits administration for new hires and employee changes

o  Provide support for benefits and payroll data

o  Timely management of HR queries

o  Provide policy and process advice

o  Managing internal approvals

o  Produce regular and ad-hoc reports

o  Immigration administration and support for the relocation process

o  Maintenance of spreadsheets

o  Assist in managing consistent HR communications

o  Review and maintain Standard Operating Procedures for key HR processes

o  Assist in projects either relating to HR Operations or ad-hoc support to HR Business Partners

To be successful in this role, you would have the following skills and experience:

o  Be a solution focused HR generalist who is able to organize multiple tasks to meet timelines.

o  HR Systems governance – have great attention to detail to effectively manage and govern our HR system.

o  Effective communication skills both written and verbal, demonstrated ability to respond to employees, stakeholders and managers at different levels.

o  HR management knowledge and expertise. A broad range of understanding HR management and able to provide advice and guidance to employees and managers on HR related policies.

o  Onboarding, offboarding employees and managing employee changes.

o  Administrative experience in the timely communication of payroll and benefits administration.

o  Analytical and data-driven. Able to analyze HR data and use it to make informed decisions.

o  You will also have demonstrated ability to operate a broad range of computer packages (Microsoft applications and HRIS).
