You'll be the mastermind behind creating and further developing a winning HR strategy, ensuring our nurseries and school flourish with top talent.


You’ll get involved with:

  • Creating first-class candidate and employee journeys: design and implement engaging programs alongside our HR and Training teams to attract and retain the best of the best.
  • Ensuring happy, thriving teams: overseeing staffing and HR for the nurseries and school by analysing workforce needs, and plan for future growth sustainably.
  • Developing a HR strategy: that addresses challenges and capitalises on opportunities, keeping us as an employer of choice.
  • Building a future-proof workforce: write and regularly review staffing plans, ensuring we have the right talent for tomorrow's needs.
  • Being a trusted advisor: supporting the Senior Management Teams and Proprietor on all things staffing and HR, guiding them through employee relations and employment law.
  • Empowering your team: lead the staff evaluation process, manage the HR team's development, and ensure optimal performance management.
  • Championing compliance: Guarantees HR procedures adhere to legal requirements and keep policies and processes running smoothly.
  • Nurturing a positive environment: build a neutral space where staff feel comfortable raising concerns and issues.
  • Staying ahead of the game: maintain knowledge of HR trends, best practices, and regulations, informing upper management and implementing necessary changes.
  • From onboarding to offboarding: oversee employment, manage nursery and school payroll collation.

Personal attributes required:

·        Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.

·        Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

·        Strong supervisory and leadership skills.

·        Ability to adapt to the needs of the organisations and employees (understanding the need for flexibility when completing tasks).

·        Ability to prioritise tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.

·        Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.

·        CIPD Level 5 qualified (or qualified by experience).

·        Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

·        Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organisation's HRIS and talent management systems.
