We are currently seeking a dedicated People Experience Manager to cover a 12-month maternity leave, playing a crucial role in championing a people-centric culture.


The ideal start date for this role will be April 2024, allowing for a smooth handover period. We are also looking for someone to work at our London HQ twice a week.


As our new People Experience Manager, you will:

  • Promote and embed a people-centric mindset throughout SSG, proactively addressing behaviours that impede a positive employee experience.
  • Encourage the business to consistently consider the impact on the people experience when making decisions.
  • Build and nurture strong, trusting relationships with designated business areas serving as a reliable advisor to management teams.
  • Identify and implement effective methods to gather feedback from employees, such as surveys and focus groups, and analyse results to inform decisions.
  • Analyse data and insights to provide informed recommendations and contribute to evidence-based decision-making.
  • Share feedback, findings, and relevant insights with the People Team and management.
  • Develop and regularly update "personas" to guide the team in crafting targeted solutions and communications.
  • Design and deliver impactful people-related projects across the employee lifecycle, ensuring they are well-adapted for relevant business areas.
  • Ensure that people initiatives are well-communicated, successfully landing within the organisation, and regularly review their success.
  • Actively contribute to the ongoing development and delivery of the People Strategy, aligning initiatives with broader organisational goals.
  • Keep abreast of developments and market trends across the employee lifecycle, ensuring that SSG remains ahead of the curve in people practices.
  • Challenge the status quo, iteratively building and testing solutions, and adapting strategies as needed for continuous improvement.
  • Actively share knowledge and innovative ideas with colleagues, fostering a collaborative and forward-thinking work environment.


Success Metrics:

Success in this role will be measured by improved employee satisfaction, positive feedback, and active engagement of management in the people experience.
