HR Business Partner

Full time (37.5 hours per week), 52 weeks per year. Mon – Fri, 09.00 – 17.30

Salary: Up to £35,000 per annum, dependent on experience

 

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a talented Human Resources Business Partner to join us here at Worth School, working as part of a close-knit team in a true generalist role.

You will be responsible for providing best in class expertise, and advice for all matters of Employee Relations and Human Resources practice across your dedicated business area, ensuring the best possible support and guidance can be delivered.

You will be focused on supporting managers, employees, and the wider business to achieve the best outcomes, even in challenging situations.  While being strategically aware and able to strike a balance between having the confidence to make sensible decisions, but escalating issues when appropriate.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing an effective and professional HR service to management and staff in dedicated business areas.
  • Supporting and advising the management teams in effectively managing the performance of their teams.
  • Coaching and supporting line managers on absence, disciplinary and grievance issues and ensuring managers have the appropriate skills to manage these people processes.
  • Supporting the development of the Human Resources function.
  • Actively participating and delivering Human Resources initiatives and projects across the School.

 

What we are looking for:

  • Experience of dealing with Recruitment, ER matters, including disciplinary, grievances and appeals.
  • Sound working knowledge of UK Employment Law.
  • Experience of change leadership and management.
  • Able to work at pace and under pressure.
  • Demonstrable passion for people and delivering service excellence.
