HR Advisor

The Wildlife Trust for Lancashire, Manchester & North Merseyside is looking for a HR Advisor to join our team. 


This is an exciting and varied role and will provide a real opportunity to advance your skills and experience in HR management. 


This position requires someone who can use their own initiative with determination and drive in a professional yet friendly manner and who can be flexible in their approach, whilst dealing with a wide range of people and situations.


As our HR Advisor you will:

  • Provide professional HR advice and guidance to line managers and staff in all areas of HR policy and practice.
  • Design and deliver training programmes, workshops and materials to support line managers in the application of HR Policy, Procedure and good practice.
  • Support the development and improvement of the performance management process and ensure this is embedded within the Trust.
  • Lead and provide support on employee relations casework.
  • Undertake specific HR projects that support the achievement of the operational HR strategic goals and the goals of the organisation.
  • Proactively support our EDI workstream and support strategy implementation to further develop our inclusive, value driven culture.
  • Attend working groups/Trustee Sub Committee meetings as appropriate.
  • Support with the monthly processing of payroll. 


CIPD level 5 qualification or equivalent work experience is essential.


The position is full time (hybrid), working 37.5 hours per week, however reduced hours will be considered for the right candidate. 


We offer 28 days holidays plus bank holidays per annum, increasing with length of service.
