HR Business Partner - Transformation

Home Based – with 2 days on site at Wheatfields Hospice, Leeds

37.5 Hours Per Week – 1 year fixed term contract

£35 - £42 k per annum plus competitive reward and benefit scheme


Are you an experienced HR professional looking for an interesting and rewarding role that will make a real difference?  


As a member of our people support team, you will play a key role enabling and driving culture change and transformation at the hospice, supporting the development of people practice and culture at an organisational level by participating in, and at times, leading on people projects.

Ideally you will be based locally, within approx. 25 miles of the hospice.


Some of your Key Responsibilities will be to:

• Take a project approach in enabling and driving culture change, delivering clear results within a specified timescale.

• Guide management in using best practice in relation to implementing transformational change within a service, ensuring legal requirements are adhered to.

• Develop effective and productive working relationships with management teams with a particular focus on dedicated support at Wheatfields Hospice.

• Provide advice and guidance to management on employment issues and to update and maintain relevant records as required. 

• Coach and support management in using best practice in relation to implementing HR policies and procedures, keeping up to date on any new initiatives and changes. 


About You


We are looking for a candidate who can bring experience of enabling and driving culture change and transformation with sound experience in a changing environment and the ability and desire to work strategically and operationally in a busy role.

 

You should also be/ have: 

• Highly motivated by a developing culture; proactive, demonstrating drive and a 'can do' approach to problem solving. 

• Track record of delivery and achievement in transforming services

• Experience of managing a caseload of complex employee relations issues.  

• IT literate (frequent use of word, excel, email and databases)

• Excellent written communication skills

• Strong knowledge and understanding of employment law 

• Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills

• CIPD qualified to level 5 (or equivalent experience)
