What you will be doing

Fabulous news, one of our HRBPs has secured a new role internally so we are recruiting for a HRBP to join our Support Centre. This role will be partnering sites between Chessington, South Normanton and Northampton and qualifies under our remote working policy; meaning attendance on site 2 days a week minimum and the rest of the week homeworking, of course if you want to be in the office more than that then you are welcome!

In the role, you’ll be supporting head office functions focussing on Customer Services, our Alcura business and other client groups as required, meaning you’ll play a key part in our business success.

Within these client groups, you’ll collaborate with the management and leadership teams to support areas in their delivery of department strategy and goals.

We are going through a lot of change, both as a business and a team, our new operating model has been launched and we are helping the business to interact with HR in the new way.  You’ll be a patient coach and understanding the change impact on teams. You’ll be a great relationship builder and source of expertise.

No day is the same, you may be working on employee relations one day L&D or talent management the next, as we move through the new way of working this role will be a mix of operational and strategic activities that would suit someone with an eye for detail and who isn’t afraid to ride the waves of change. You’ll have a proactive approach within the role to achieve the organisational strategy whilst coaching managers on complex ER issues and people plans.

What your background should look like 

We would welcome applicants with the following essential skills:


  • Trusted coach and advisor. Experience of coaching & consulting at a senior level, underpinned by a collaborative & supportive style of working.
  • Proven, project management skills & experience
  • Strong Employment Law knowledge
  • Partnering customer facing functions
  • Strong customer focus and proven ability to build productive relationships at all levels of the organisation
  • Strong knowledge of generalist HR practices and procedures
  • Strong employee relations knowledge
  • Experience in project management
  • Able to build relationships and solve challenges whilst maintaining a clear view of business objectives
  • Strategic business partner focussing on people performance and development
  • Microsoft Office

Would be great if you also have:


  • Experience using Workday
  • Worked in the Ulrich HR model
  • Lead or played a key part in large change programmes
