HR Consultant- Acquisitions and Integrations

Remote (United Kingdom)

Purpose of the Role

 

This exciting new HR Consultant role has arisen to join the HR team on an 8-month fixed term contract where you will work alongside a HRBP to support on projects involving integrations, asset transfers and contract harmonisation activity. This will involve supporting on consultation and engagement with colleagues, key stakeholders as well as tracking upcoming milestones and critical actions. 

 

This is a varied remote based role which will be business facing, ensuring the team comply with all governance requirements including adhering to all company and regulatory policies, processes, business standards and flagging where escalations may be required to other internal stakeholders.

 

 

What you will do

 

This is an overview and not an exhaustive list of responsibilities. Collaborating with your Line Manager, you will develop your own objectives but focus on all of the following and more:

 

Project Management Support

  • In conjunction with team, maintain and track all project documentation on the team shared area. 
  • Create detailed task and activity project plans with HRBPs; maintaining critical path views and escalating any critical risks that may need to be flagged to Head of HR.
  • Ensure all documentation aligns to process and relevant signatory gateways.

 

MI and Data Production

  • Produce agreed regular MI and data reports accurately and on time.
  • Track and report on any possible risks to project delivery.

 

HR Consultant

  • Support HRBP with data analysis as required
  • Support HRBP in full delivery of consultation process from design to delivery including attending project meeting, updates with key stakeholders and meetings with colleagues
  • Answer integration HR queries with a view of first-time resolution; escalating more complex queries to HRBP, as appropriate.

 

Who we are looking for

 

  • An experienced HR adviser/consultant, if this is within a regulated environment this would be helpful but don’t worry if not, we can help you develop that knowledge.
  • A working knowledge of Docusign (or similar) to produce individual and bulk upload is required and document management systems will be advantageous.
  • A planner! Proven strong organisational, planning, time and project management skills is essential with the ability to work to tight deadlines whilst maintaining quality, accuracy, and attention to detail.
  • A team player, we work remotely so the way we treat each other when we rarely meet face to face makes a huge difference to the way we work and support each other. It’s tough in HR and a good team who has your back makes all the difference.
  • Knowledge of general HR functions with particular focus on harmonisation and consultation with colleagues.
  • TUPE and contract harmonisation understanding and knowledge of employment law.
