L&D Manager

ProblemShared is seeking an experienced Learning and Development Manager to join our growing People team. We are looking for a motivated individual who wants to work in a high-performance team at a scaling health technology company and have responsibility for driving our business growth from day one. We are looking for someone who can take responsibility for establishing an L&D framework and ensuring that employees receive high quality training to support their ongoing professional growth and development. The successful candidate will have at least 5 years experience in a similar health tech environment and a passion for creating a positive and supportive workplace culture where everyone can thrive.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in L&D management, preferably in healthtech or a start up / scaling up environment.
  • Proven experience in creating an L&D strategy across multiple disciplines
  • Experience in management and development of learning management systems and building relationships with the best external training providers.
  • Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
  • An inspirational and exciting approach to delivering learning.
  • Proven organisational and project management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with a variety of stakeholders.
  • Experience of remote working

What the job involves

  • Develop, implement, and evaluate learning and development strategies to align with organisational objectives.
  • Assess training needs and make recommendations for learning opportunities that will support employee performance and development with particular focus ensuring our Clinical CPD frameworks are in place
  • Create and implement training programs that are effective, engaging and accessible for all employees.
  • Collaborate with senior leaders to design and implement leadership development initiatives
  • Manage and implement L&D platform including tracking of employee participation and manage training budget.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs using a variety of methods and adjust programs accordingly.
  • Develop and manage relationships with internal and external training vendors.
  • Develop and maintain L&D policies and procedures to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
