Fixed Term Contract - 8 months maternity cover

This is a maternity cover post where you will be providing executive level support for Head Office functions.

What you need to succeed in this role?

  • HR business partnering skills gained through partnering in an organisation facing change.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills in order to influence and maximise opportunities to improve the performance of the organisation.
  • Experience and drive to work with ambiguity and the ability to stay resilient, focusing on objectives in a challenging and maturing business environment.

Landscape

Your role as People Partner, sits within a wider People Group including a peer group of 4 People Partners and 3 Senior People Partners, People Advisers, an Employee relations specialist team, People services admin, Internal Recruitment and Learning and Development.

What you will do

  • Quickly establish credibility and respect and building strong working relationships
  • Drive a culture of empowerment and accountability with senior business leaders, providing challenge and guidance.
  • You'll work alongside the HR Leadership Team and other senior colleagues up to and including executive level, defining and delivering an integrated People Strategy.
  • You'll enjoy the accountability and autonomy that comes from ownership and delivery of key milestones and initiatives whilst building strong partnerships and building your internal network.
  • Model best practice leadership behaviours with confidence whilst mentoring the HR advisor team.
  • Outcome focused with the experience and drive to work with ambiguity and the ability to stay resilient in focusing on objectives in a challenging and maturing business environment.
  • Act as a critical friend with the ability to have challenging conversations.
