HR Administration Team Leader

Our staff are integral to how we do this and to ensure we are able to deliver on our commitment, we currently have an opportunity to join the University as HR Administration Team Leader. Working closely with and under the direction of the HR Administration Manager, you will oversee the delivery of a high-quality and customer-focussed transactional HR administration service, that effectively underpins and enables the activities of the wider HR team. As Team Leader, you will coach and support a small team of HR Administrators to ensure that they are engaged, motivated, and highly-skilled, acting as enablers for the HR Team to deliver an outstanding experience for all stakeholders.


The successful candidate will be experienced in delivering effective HR administration processes across a wide range of people-focussed activities, with experience of developing and streamlining these to continuously improve the offer for stakeholders. The post holder will be highly customer-focussed and undertake their duties in a collaborative and cooperative manner, working with colleagues across the HR Team to ensure the delivery of a consistently high-quality administration service that meets the needs of all users. To be successful in the role, you will be an effective communicator, with strong organisational and time management skills. You will have the ability to produce detailed operational work plans and effectively allocate tasks to team members, monitoring and managing performance against those plans.
